Three Lakes, WI

The Northernaire is nestled in the Nicolet National Forest and on the shores of the World’s Largest Chain of Freshwater Lakes, and the opportunities to explore are endless.  Three Lakes is located between Rhinelander and Eagle River and within easy driving distance to St. Germain, Land O’ Lakes, Minocqua and the upper peninsula of Michigan.  The town is a main street community with a number of store front shops with unique offerings.  Don’t forget to stop by the Black Forest, one of the oldest operating restaurants in town, for some German food and Three Lakes history.  Visit one of the many shops downtown to find that perfect souvenir, and don’t forget to stop by Lick-A-Dee Splitz for a sweet treat.

Nicolet Forest

The Northernaire Resort is nestled on the edge of the Nicolet National Forest, a wilderness that abounds with activities for all seasons, including hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing and boating.  Or simply enjoy a drive through the winding forest roads and enjoy the gorgeous scenery!

No need to travel to enjoy a round of golf!  Big Stone Golf Course is directly across the road from the resort.  The golf course opens for the season May 1st weather permitting.

With over 28 lakes, the opportunities for boaters and anglers are endless!  Enjoy some of the best freshwater fishing in the world, or bring your personal watercraft or skis and enjoy the over 7,500 acres of open water and 174 miles of shoreline.
